Rachel Begbie , joined Corinthia Hotels on December 1st following 18 years with Four Seasons Hotels in London, Egypt and Beirut and latterly as Regional Director of HR covering Azerbaijan, Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Lebanon and South Africa.

She will be responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing learning, development and wellbeing systems and programmes across the eight hotels, based in Corinthia Hotels’ London office.

It is hoped that she will also help improve staff retention, something that blights the entire hospitality industry.

“It is a great pleasure and opportunity to have Rachel on the Corinthia Hotels’ team,” says Franco Valletta, Chief Officer – Organisation Development & HR for the group. “Her appointment is timely as Corinthia embarks on a journey of growth and expansion".

“Rachel’s extensive HR and Learning & Development experience in luxury hotels will no doubt enrich our ongoing commitment to providing our colleagues with career progression opportunities, an environment of constant learning, as well as a genuine and caring climate of wellbeing.”
