Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc., the management company for the new Westin Virginia Beach Town Center hotel, today announced the appointment of Jon Sorenson as Director of Sales & Marketing for the 236 guestroom upscale hotel. The hotel, which is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2007, will be a focal point of the Town Center of Virginia Beach, a mixed-use “main street” style development located at the core of the city’s Central Business District and the home of its cultural, business and retail activities.

Developed by Armada-Hoffler, the Town Center spans over 17 city blocks and provides a mix of upscale retail, luxury residential, Class A offices, an array of restaurants, as well as the new Westin Hotel and Residences. The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center will share the 38 story high-rise tower with 119 luxury condominiums, whose owners will have access to many of the hotel’s services and amenities.

Mr. Sorenson joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from The Adams Companies in Atlanta, GA, where he was the Sales & Marketing Manager for the company’s two divisions: Adams Data Management and Adams Transfer & Storage. Prior to that he was with Merritt Hospitality as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Sheraton Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta and he has also held executive sales positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts as well as MeriStar Hotels & Resorts.
