The group grew exponentially in the last 7 years with a portfolio now counting 55 restaurants and 38 hotels, 18 of which are actually physically opened. The American management company has now decided to focus on its hospitality offering and shared more details on the 14 hotels and residences opening between 2024 and 2027. The company praises itself for often working with the same property owners, and new restaurants will be integrated to the new hotels rather than opened independently.
The first property to open is the Nobu Atlantic City, set to open in January 2024, in collaboration with Caesars Entertainment. Located in the middle of the Caesars complex, the property will have 80 rooms with views of Atlantic City. The design will reflect the Japanese philosophy with its simplicity, uncluttered space and luxury in-room dining offer, to create a natural and practical feel to each room.
The Nobu Hotel Toronto has been in development since 2017, and will sit at the top of one of the two new 45 storeys towers in the middle of the entertainment district. The property will offer 40 luxury guest rooms and suites and open mid 2024. The 660 residences included in the project have already opened in 2023.
The third Caesars’ collaboration - after Las Vegas and Atlantic City - will be the Nobu New Orleans, counting 54 guestrooms and Nobu staff carrying the Nobu brand and offering the luxury lifestyle experience and brand philosophy. The property is set to open at the end of 2024.
The year 2025 is set to be a busy year, starting with the opening of Nobu Madrid, located in the heart of Madrid’s Cortes District. With 50 guest rooms, the property will run under the same ownership as Nobu Hotel San Sebastián, and will feature a rooftop.
The new New York property has been in the making for a very long time, and, with its iconic heritage, is already set to be an American favourite. The Plaza Athenée Nobu Hotel & Spa New York, sister property of the Bangkok Plaza Athénée will be located in the Upper east side. It wil count 145 rooms, and a Japanese Onsen.
The Lisbon property will be the first Nobu in Portugal. The Nobu Hotel Lisbon is located in the heart of Lisbon on Avenida da Liberdade, and will feature 72 rooms and suites.
Set to be the largest hotel of Nobu property across the board, the Nobu Hotel Punta Cana will count 600 guest rooms, suites and villas.
A collaboration between Grand Hotel Via Veneto and Nobu Hospitality, the Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Roma will be located on the via Veneto and feature 122 rooms.
To start the group’s Middle Eastern journey, the Nobu Hotel Al Khobar in Bahrain will host 120 guest rooms and suites, residences and restaurants, all located on the city waterfront.
The Nobu Hotel Elbtower Hamburg is another first for the group, as the first step of the brand in Hamburg. The city, attracting more and more luxury hospitality brands, will host 191 rooms and suites, a restaurant, views on the river, and a members club open to the local community.
In 2026, the Nobu Hotel Danang will mark the first Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences in Vietnam, with a mix of residences and 200 guest rooms and suites, located in My Khe beachfront.
The Nobu Tulum, in Riviera Maya, will also feature 200 guest rooms and suites, and 75 residences.
In 2027, the Nobu Hotel Abu Dhabi, on Saadiyat Island, will open to guests with its 165 rooms and suites, 88 private residences, a rooftop bar, a restaurant, offering views on the Guggenheim and the beachfront.
The Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences Al Marjan, on the northern side of Ras Al Khaimah, will offer 62 residences and an adventurous kind of experience, staying true to the history and many activities the location has to offer.
