"We create statement pieces, inspired by the world of fashion and designed to embody the identity and heritage of brands" - Marcy de Soultrait, Founder and CEO Crédit photo © MARCY PARIS In the world of luxury hospitality, where every detail matters and brand image hinges on service excellence, uniforms are no longer merely work attire but genuine ambassadors of a company's values. This is the vision that MARCY PARIS has championed since 2009, transforming the traditional approach to professional uniforms through its revolutionary "Corporate Couture" vision.
The legacy of a singular vision
Founded by Marcy de Soultrait, the brand draws its origins froma world seemingly distant from hospitality—motorsport. This initial experience, far from incidental, has forged the company's DNA. "Motorsport taught me the importance of attention to detail and performance," confides the founder. As official outfitter for Renault in Formula 1 and Peugeot Sport in rally-raid, MARCY PARIS had already mastered the art of designing technical garments conceived for excellence, resistant to extreme conditions whilst reinforcing brand identity on the global stage.
The decisive shift towards professional uniforms occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. "Many hotels wanted to rework their image and contacted us to redesign their uniforms," explains Marcy de Soultrait. This natural transition revealed a growing demand for uniforms that transcend mere functionality to become genuine tools of communication and identity.
Corporate Couture: a revolutionary approach
"MARCY PARIS is a ready-to-wear fashion brand dedicated to hospitality, catering and retail professions," specifies the founder. The Corporate Couture approach rests on unique expertise: designing uniforms with the codes and standards of high-end ready-to-wear. "What differentiates us from other players is that we create signature pieces, inspired by the fashion world and designed to embody brands' identity and heritage."
This philosophy translates into meticulous attention to every detail. MARCY PARIS embodies craftsmanship in which each element, subtle or bold, becomes a mark of refinement. From the precision of cuts to the meticulous choice of finishes, every component contributes to the garment's balance, creating perfect harmony between aesthetics and functionality.
CSR commitment at the heart of strategy
In a sector often criticised for its environmental practices, MARCY PARIS stands as a pioneer with an ambitious and transparent CSR approach. The company is resolutely committed to responsible production, with 83% of its references manufactured in Europe and 100% of its wellness collection made in France.
"It's probably one of the most challenging aspects of the industry," acknowledges Marcy de Soultrait. "We've chosen to have 83% of Marcy Paris references manufactured in Europe, including 30% in France, with complete traceability of all materials." This approach is accompanied by ambitious quantified objectives: 90% of collection models will be eco-responsible by 2028.
The company publishes a comprehensive CSR report annually, demonstrating its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement. This approach also encompasses sustainable partnerships, such as with the Paulo de Oliveira factory in Portugal, which invests heavily in renewable energy with nearly 15,000 solar panels and a wastewater treatment plant.
Technical excellence in service of elegance
MARCY PARIS's permanent collection, comprising 58 models, reflects this pursuit of excellence. Each piece is designed to offer a structured and harmonious silhouette, adapted to the specific requirements of each sector. In the hospitality industry, uniforms become distinguishing elements that immediately reinforce the establishment's image and standing, embodying hospitality and reflecting the promise of attentive service.
In catering, the creations complement the service rhythm whilst reinforcing team cohesion. They express the venue's expertise and standards, guaranteeing comfort and freedom of movement. In spas and aesthetic clinics, uniforms convey confidence and well-being, reflecting team expertise without ever appearing strict or impersonal.
Studio M102: innovation for customisation
"We adapt our creations by translating each establishment's DNA and history into lines, materials, and details, with the same standards as these establishments themselves," explains the founder. This bespoke approach materialises through Studio M102, the brand's genuine creative laboratory.
"With our creation studio M102 Studio, we want to go further in textile innovation and client experience," specifies Marcy de Soultrait. This studio enables even more personalised service: bespoke design, logo creation, innovative material research, and uniform development capable of perfectly embodying each brand's identity.
An ambitious vision for the future
MARCY PARIS's objective is clear and ambitious: "to continue elevating uniforms to the status of image pieces, blending elegance, functionality, and responsible commitment." This vision translates into a development strategy focused on the most promising sectors: hospitality, catering, hospitality services, and retail.
The company's economic competitiveness is based on premium positioning and exceptional product quality, enabling client loyalty among demanding customers and maintaining healthy and sustainable growth. The uniforms, conceived and designed by the company's integrated style team, benefit from a collaborative approach that guarantees creative coherence and technical mastery.
When uniforms become brand ambassadors
MARCY PARIS has successfully transformed professional uniforms from simple functional garments into genuine communication and identity tools. Through its Corporate Couture approach, the company meets the expectations of a constantly evolving luxury hospitality sector, where brand image and client experience constitute major stakes.
In a market increasingly concerned with environmental responsibility, MARCY PARIS proves that creative excellence and sustainable commitment can perfectly coexist. By placing human values and environmental respect at the heart of its approach, the brand is outlining the contours of a new textile industry that is more conscious and responsible, without ever compromising on the elegance and quality that make its reputation.
