About the role

The purchasing supervisor ensures the proper supply of grocery, stationery, guest supplies (customer supplies), alcohol stocks according to PAR stocks (minimum stocks). The order quantities and the management of the risk of shortages on these products are also his/her responsibility.

He/she is under the responsibility of the management of his/her department: Purchasing Director, Financial Director and his/her Deputy.

The Purchasing Supervisor must demonstrate very good team spirit and a good sense of observation in order to carry out meticulous and quality work. He/she must demonstrate a spirit of synthesis and a strong sense of negotiation.

What you will do

• He/she is in charge of orders for fresh products at the best price for optimal quality and validated by the Head Chef. Daily arrivals must be monitored by the person responsible for goods arrivals and the Sous-Chef in charge.
  
  

• He/she coordinates and supervises the Delivery Dock team as well as the Purchasing intern and more generally any person in training within the Purchasing Department.
  
  

• He/she must multiply the quotes in order to ensure that the price and quality of the chosen product have the best ratio in view of the requests and requirements of the requesting department.
  
  

• He/she must ensure the necessary validations (Department Heads or Department Directors) before placing the order for a new product.
