The Position/Role
The Guest Relations Intern assists in ensuring a smooth arrival and memorable stay for Elite, HRG, VIP and other special selection of guests while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies and procedures and reports directly to the Guest Relations Manager. Works across multiple departments to ensure all guest requests and stay details are completed to satisfaction. Anticipate and respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
Responsibilities
The Guest Relations Intern performs the following duties:
Ensure excellent communication between all departments to respond to requests
Ensure customer satisfaction
Enhance guest experience by exceeding guests’ expectations and being creative and resourceful
Manage and prioritize stressful events
Learn and apply Four Seasons standards and tools
Check VIP guest rooms prior to arrival to ensure preference and cleanliness.
Prepare and place in-room arrival and departure gifts for our guests
Support and accompany the Guest Relations team for check-in and check-out
Write welcome cards and cards for special occasions (birthdays, honeymoons)
Provide lobby presence during high occupancy, and peak arrival and departures of guests, groups, and events to connect with customers and ensure a great experience and satisfaction
Participate in and assist the Guest Relations team with room decorations for special occasions (anniversaries, honeymoons).
Act as an ambassador for the hotel, displaying a great sense of style and integrity and conveying to the guest a sense of knowledge and assurance.
Ensure efficient communication & collaborate closely with the Guest Relations Team.
Be able to answer any queries regarding hours of operation for any food and beverage outlet, the SPA, the GYM, the library, etc.

Who You Are?
Experience in a luxury hotel/resort preferred.
Knowledge of French Alps or Megève and surrounding areas, highly desirable, however not required.
Must be flexible with schedule- Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the French language.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
Ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
