Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) today announced plans to build a new St. Regis property in Atlanta. Owned by SR Hotel Development, LLLP and managed by Starwood's ultra-luxe St. Regis brand, the 26-story, 150-room hotel is expected to be Atlanta's most luxurious hotel. Scheduled to open in the first half of 2008, The St. Regis will also feature 50 magnificent wholly-owned St. Regis Residences, destined to be the finest dwellings in the area. St. Regis Hotel, Atlanta will be located in the heart of Buckhead at One Hundred West Paces Ferry Road.
