Organised through the hotel's Security Department, 28 employees from departments such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Recreation, Security, as well as both the general manager, Lars Geweyer, and resident manager, Karim Boushra, participated in the one day training course in July, which was facilitated by industrial safety specialist Ahmed Abd El Moneam. Participants showed a keen interest in learning all aspects of fire prevention and fire fighting, and actively participated in the practical fire fighting training.
