Executive Housekeeper at Le Meridien Amman Awarded with Starwood’s President’s Award for 2009
Le Meridien Amman, a subsidiary of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, has recently presented Ms. Amal Jad AlHaq, the Executive Housekeeper with the President’s Award for 2009 from the Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. The award was presented by the General Manager; Mr. Tareq Derbas for her outstanding performance in 2009.
Ms. Jad AlHaq has been with Le Meridien Amman for more than two years, and has played a major role in enhancing the hotel’s excellent service, creating a positive work environment by supporting the associates, and achieving maximum guest satisfaction.
Mr. Derbas commented on the award by saying: “Ms. Amal has exceptionally fulfilled the responsibilities of this position though her attention to detail, coordination skills and motivating and nurturing the associates. I wish her continuous success and congratulate her on a well deserved award!”
On the other hand, Ms. Jad AlHaq expressed her appreciation by saying; “I am honored to receive such a prestigious award. My passion for “going the extra step” which is also one of the values of Starwood has been quite rewarding. It represents the effort and hard work of a tireless, focused and dedicated team.”
