Hotel meets the requirements of HACCP
7 February, 2012 – Doha, Qatar: Millennium Hotel Doha today received the official certificate for meeting the requirements of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) in accordance with the Codex Alimentarius – a collection of international food standards.
The Codex Alimentarius is maintained by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations and the World Health Organisation, and it is recognized globally as the point of reference for food safety.
Determined to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality management, Millennium Doha’s Food & Beverage department, the Food Service and Catering operations, has successfully completed its daily verification and validation of workflow and operations, in order to comply with the regulatory requirements. The HACCP certificate is valid from 22 December 2011 until 21 December 2014.
Receiving the certificate, Giorgio Lanfranchi, General Manager of Millennium Hotel Doha said: “We aim to sustain the highest standards of food quality and ensure a healthy and safe environment for food production. This certificate shows that we keep the same high quality standards behind the scenes, as our guests can see when they come into our hotel.”
