Arriving to Maui via his most recent post as General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, Bromley has served a 12-year tenure with the luxury hospitality brand, and his experience spans the globe. His distinguished stamp can be found on Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo.

The first legacy General Manager in Four Seasons history, Bromley as had a lifetime of hospitality experience. His father, Stan Bromley, was an esteemed hotelier who retired after a storied career from his last position as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco. “When my brother Jordan and I were young, we were told to clean our rooms like any other kid, says Bromley. “However, our room cleaning came with a full inspection afterwards, complete with checking the closet and drawers where every kid jams their mess! If there was paper or trash on the floor – and we neglected to pick it up – a lesson in attention to detail would ensue.”

Bromley learned the position from ground up, trying his hand at various line positions from housekeeping to stewarding and laundry. Before graduating from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Hotel Administration, a college internship introduced him to the restaurant side of the industry, in which he found a true passion in food and beverage and held various management positions before devoting his career to hotel management.

Well-regarded for his infectious energy, hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations and positive impact on employees and guests, Bromley says, “We are people before we are employees. The person always comes before the business. Over my career, I have observed how embodying this philosophy manifests not only an extraordinary employee experience, but also an exceptional guest experience.”

Bromley is excited to call Maui home. “It’s nice to be welcomed to a place that exudes so much hospitality and kindness,” he says of island’s famous aloha spirit. “I’m most excited to contribute to the energy of this iconic team, as well as to local community,” says Bromley. In his free time, he looks forward exploring the island - especially the beaches - with wife Katie and his three children, daughters Nora and Georgia and son Beau.
