Two music icons. One night to remember. will.i.am and Mark Ronson converge on the City That Doesn’t Sleep tonight for a hybrid Fashion Show/CD Release party.
Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos has tapped Black Eyed Peas front-man and fashion designer, will.i.am, to create a new uniform collection exclusively for Hard Rock Hotel properties. His new designs will debut at Hard Rock’s two newest properties: Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Biloxi, opening July 7, and Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, opening Fall 2007. Hard Rock will roll out the uniforms to eight other Hard Rock Hotel and Casino properties in operation or development in 2008.
But before they hit the Hotel and Casino properties, they’ll make their debut tonight on the catwalk as part of Fashion Show to launch the new uniform line. And joining will.i.am at tonight’s event is legendary DJ and producer Mark Ronson, on hand to celebrate the release of Allido Records’ compilation CD Mark Ronson Presents Hard Rock.
The CD features covers of classic from Weezer, Kaiser Chiefs, Beck and more. You can pick up your copy from the Online Rock Shop. $1.00 from the sale of each CD will benefit, Playpumps International. Playpumps is a nonprofit collaborative that enables individuals, governments, foundations, and companies to donate PlayPump water systems to rural African communities and schools ensuring Sub Saharan Africans access to clean water.
