The new 87-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Lakeland, Fla. today announced it is open for business at 4500 Lakeland Park Drive.

Testasecca, general manager of the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Lakeland. The owner of the hotel is Sheldon Management Inc.
The hotel features a unique covered indoor/outdoor pool and fitness center. Other amenities include a complimentary hot continental breakfast and a meeting room with audio-visual capabilities to accommodate up to 60 people. The hotel offers a variety of guest room styles including standard rooms, King or Double Queen suites and Whirlpool suites. All rooms feature complimentary high-speed Internet access, hair dryer, 37" flat screen television, microwave and refrigerator.
In addition, all rooms include their own Web-based computer so guests can enjoy free Internet browsing from the comfort of their room. There is also a computer available in the Business Center.
Conveniently located in central Florida, this Country Inn & Suites property is approximately 12 miles from the Lakeland Airport and 41 miles from Tampa International Airport.
