Pan Pacific Hotels Group appoints Senior Vice President of Operations

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Dean Schreiber as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Based in Singapore, Dean will lead the Operations Team in operational systems management and development while also overseeing re-flagging and opening activities as Pan Pacific Hotels Group expands the portfolio of both its Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL brands. In addition, he will be responsible for the establishment and measurement of service quality standards throughout all operational aspects in line with the overall company branding strategy.

Boasting 24 years of hospitality management spanning nine countries and five continents, Dean is also no stranger to the Pan Pacific brand, having previously served with Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts as Group Operations Leader from 2004 to 2007 before moving to Dubai as Vice President Operations with luxury hospitality group Essque. In that role, he was fully responsible for all of the group’s activities including development, marketing, spa, food and beverage divisions and all pre and post-opening hotel operations.

A native of Australia, Dean’s early career highlights included working in a breadth of hotel roles in the Philippines, Indonesia, Tibet and Hong Kong, where he opened several hotels including the Le Meridien Cyberport and the Harbour Plaza North Point, earning a reputation as one the industry’s innovative General Managers.

Dean’s last appointment was Group Managing Director with real estate investment, development and management company KOP Group. Based in Singapore, he oversaw the global development and operations for KOP’s hospitality brands including Franklyn Hotels & Resorts and Montigo Resorts as well as its high-end luxury publications Lux Magazine and Luxury Lifestyle Hotels.
