James Carroll, Chief Operating Officer of Crestline Hotels & Resorts, announced the appointment of David Shapiro as Senior Manager of Business Development. In this newly created position, Mr. Shapiro will be responsible for pursuing new management contracts for Crestline's growing management business. Crestline Hotels & Resorts is among the top five leading hospitality management companies in the U.S. and is actively seeking to continue growing its current portfolio of more than 65 managed hotels, resorts and conference facilities.
Before joining Crestline, Mr. Shapiro was Director of Acquisitions at JHM Hotels in Greenville, SC. He brings 10 years of hospitality and financial experience to this new role having also held management positions with Thayer Lodging Group, and JP Morgan Investment Banking and JP Morgan Corporate Strategy & Development.

Mr. Shapiro holds a Masters in Management from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration and a B.S. from Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
