Earlier this year, the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa—one of the first five-star, luxury properties to grace Bali’s southern peninsula—unveiled the results of a sweeping and substantial refurbishment programme. The property now boasts an extensive range of rejuvenated rooms and facilities, retaining its classic touch but reinvigorated with a new look and feel.
The second quarter of 2010 saw the re-launch of a completely revamped Maguro Asian Bistro, with the Nusa Dua Spa and sports centre following later in the year, as well as a thorough facelift for the property’s dazzling main pool. Meanwhile, the renovated Royal Residence and Nusa Dua Wing demonstrate a perfect marriage of trendy amenities set in traditional Balinese architecture; these rooms, previously Superior Rooms, have been re-branded as Deluxe Rooms.
Ongoing renovation work on this iconic landmark building in Nusa Dua still includes the luxurious Agung Spa and Agung Garden Wing guestrooms, designed to evoke a warm, residential feel, as well as the lobby bar and Wedang Jahe restaurant. The transformation of these areas will be completed and open to the public by mid 2011, although the hotel will remain fully operational with a reduced number of suites and rooms.
