Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announces Senior Management changes in the Americas (United States)

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Bart Stone as Group Director of Residences replacing Susanne Hatje who moves to Mandarin Oriental, New York as General Manager. Mr Stone is currently the Group’s Vice President & Legal Counsel, The Americas. He will assume his new role from 1 June 2013 and will be based in New York.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Bart Stone as Group Director of Residences replacing Susanne Hatje who moves to Mandarin Oriental, New York as General Manager. Mr Stone joined Mandarin Oriental in 2005 from the law firm, Thelen Reid & Priest in New York, where he was a lawyer specializing in commercial real estate. He was promoted to his current position in 2008, and has been instrumental in all of the Group’s development projects in The Americas as well as handling general legal matters in the region. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of the Group’s global Residences at Mandarin Oriental projects in operation and under development.

Wendy Hansen, currently Legal Counsel, The Americas will be promoted to the position of Vice President & Legal Counsel for The Americas with effect from 1 June 2013, and will remain in Atlanta. Prior to joining the Group in 2008, Ms Hansen was an Associate in the real estate department of the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis in San Francisco.
