On the occasion of this appointment, Maud Bailly, AccorHotels’ Chief Digital Officer, has declared: “We are very happy that Gilles has agreed to join us. Amid AccorHotels’ technological and cultural transformation, he will bring his extensive knowledge of the digital world, spanning the strategic, technological and managerial aspects.”

Gilles studied engineering at IPSA and began his career in 1998 as a journalist in the Test group before setting up Archimetrie, a documentary website and publishing company. He moved to TPS then Canal Plus as head of distributed IT in 2004, then to Transavia France to head up its Information System in 2007.

He has been Managing Director of Voyages-SNCF Technologies, running the voyages-sncf.com group’s technical division and SNCF’s Digital Factory, since 2012. He has in particular supported Voyages-SNCF’s digital and managerial transformation by rolling out agile, DevOps-based, innovative and collaborative customer-centric methods, and significantly growing revenue. He is also a founding member of the Agile Consortium France club.
