THE PROJECT GENESIS, A FAMILY STORY

Born into a hotelier family, Nicolas Sclippa, co-founder, has always observed his parents dealing with bath linen problems. Second expense item for a Hotel, it wears out quickly, becomes rough and is energy consuming.
Maud Lalo, co-founder, has always seen her family to break codes, particularly with the company G.LALO, which revolutionized stationery thanks to a new material made of cellulose.

Maud Lalo and Nicolas Sclippa then set out to solve this problem with the ambition to create the perfect fiber and to become the reference for high-end linen in the Hotel industry.

THE PERFECT LINEN OBSESSION

The two entrepreneurs launched a series of tests to develop a stronger, more comfortable and more ecological fiber.
Several materials were tested. Linen, work, hemp, eucalyptus, soya, corn, seaweed... until the perfect composition was found: a mix of 70% of a certain bamboo race to give all the desired characteristics and 30% of egyptian cotton to give thickness.
The manufacturing process has been thought to ensure the bath linen is perfectly adapted to the professionals' needs and meets the users' expectations.

Comptoir du Bambou linen is soft, pleasant and comfortable for users; practical and economical for hoteliers; ecological and less energy consuming for the planet.

The company is aware of all the chain links, from the search for fiber to its products distribution. It is also certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100, which guarantees the absence of toxic products during manufacturing.

A BATH LINEN THOUGHT FOR PROFESSIONALS

To ensure the bath linen's resistance and quality, Comptoir du Bambou has conducted tests in several industrial laundries. The results have shown that their bath linen lasts twice as long in their conditions than a classic cotton bath linen, while preserving softness and thickness.
The ratio number of uses / price allows its customers to achieve up to 35% savings.

Thanks to its originality, its high quality and its respect for the environment, bamboo bath linen actively participates in the customer experience.
Symbol of elegance and refinement, the brand gives its customers the opportunity to adapt their bath linen to their Hotels image with tailor-made collections.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT

Today, more than a hundred Hotels trust Comptoir du Bambou. The company's development involves co-creation initiatives with its customers, both in terms of launching new products and developing the concept.
"Interested in our concept, a Parisian Palace contacted us to work on their bed linen. We have therefore accelerated the development of this product - initially planned for 2019 - to equip our customer in the first half of 2018.
The family slogan can thus be reused and adapted to this young brand which advances with its time "Using Comptoir du Bambou, it is knowing how to please yourself, but mostly how to please the other, who will be very grateful."
