Infotainment event for the 94th birthday of the famous landmark hotel

The Polonia Palace Hotel and its global partner WORLDHOTELS will celebrate the “Summer of 1913”, the 94th birthday of Warsaw’s famous landmark hotel in the heart of the city. Ten other selected international members of WORLDHOTELS’ portfolio of more than 500 unique hotels in 70 countries will also join in the infotainment event on August 29, 2007.

Built in 1913, the Polonia Palace Hotel is Warsaw’s most stylish and elegant address, located in the true heart of Warsaw. The member of WORLDHOTELS’ First Class Collection was recently completely refurbished to offer guests all the essential hotel facilities they would expect from a quality hotel in the 21st century. Combining modern amenities within elegant and luxurious surroundings, the hotel features 206 well appointed and stylish guestrooms, Strauss Restaurant with truly European and Polish cuisine, the trendy yet relaxed Bojangles Bar & Lounge, a modern fitness centre, sauna and solarium as well as state of the art business and meeting facilities.

“We are looking forward to present our stylish and elegant premises to Poland’s travel industry and our business partners together with WORLDHOTELS,” says Peter Goehle, General Manager of the Polonia Palace Hotel. “Our partnership with this hotel group for more than three years has been very beneficial for us due to the strong brand as well as the wide range of services.”

“With its great tradition, luxurious facilities, individual style and excellent service the Polonia Palace Hotel is a great example for the kind of properties WORLDHOTELS features in its portfolio as are the other ten member hotels participating in this event,” comments Christian Badenhop, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Central, Eastern and Northern Europe. “We focus on offering the unique hotels many people are looking for – something that many big hotel chains are unable to offer these days – and provide our hoteliers with the support they need to be successful on a global level,” adds Sylke Oder, Senior Key Account Manager Central Europe.
