With range of amenities, Mount Airy Casino Resort is the new destination resort in the Poconos
Mount Airy Casino Resort, a $412 million resort destination located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, marked the grand opening of its brand new luxury hotel today. The 188-room hotel features elegantly appointed guest rooms with outstanding amenities and features, exceeding the highest quality rooms available in the Pocono Mountains.
Each room and suite has been designed with the goal of obtaining a four-star rating, including features such as pillow-top beds, a 37-inch LCD TV, Internet access, and a luxuriously appointed bathroom. Every detail of the guest rooms, from the linen count on the beds to the type of fixtures in the bathroom, was hand-selected to ensure that guests have the best possible experience at the resort.
"Mount Airy Casino Resort provides individuals the ability to escape the daily pressures of life," said Mary Rakus, Director of Resort Operations. "Guests can enjoy a great dinner, try their luck in the casino, and then spend a night in one of our luxurious rooms. And beginning in December we will have some added amenities in the form of our nightclub with live acts and a superb spa and salon. The casino features a mix of reel-spinning machines and the newest themed video slots, as well as progressive jackpots. Dining options at the new resort include Red Steakhouse, offering the highest quality steaks and the freshest seafood; Le Sorelle Cucina, offering Italian delicacies; Betty's Diner, featuring All-American dining; and The Buffet at Mount Airy, open 24 hours a day.
In December 2007, Mount Airy Casino Resort will further expand its amenities when it opens the upscale Gypsies Lounge Nightclub, which will offer a mix of live bands, DJs and comedy acts. Also in December, Mount Airy Casino Resort will open its luxury spa and salon, providing guests with a range of invigorating spa treatments, including facials, skin treatments, personalized massages and more.
