Sam Hoffman, Corporate Director of Marketing for Outrigger Enterprises Group, is pleased to announce the promotion of Nancy Daniels, APR to Director of Public Relations for Outrigger Enterprises Group, effective immediately. Ms. Daniels was most recently Public Relations Manager. In her position, Ms. Daniels will continue to direct the external communications efforts on behalf of the company, including the planning, coordination and execution of media relations, community relations, special promotions and events. In addition, she will continue to oversee the day to day operations of the department.
Ms. Daniels has been with Outrigger since 1995 and this promotion is a reflection of her unrelenting service and dedication to the company. Prior to joining Outrigger, she spent seven years at the former Kahala Hilton Hotel, moving from administrative assistant to public relations manager. Her extensive experience in Hawaii’s hospitality industry also includes positions with Inter-Continental Hotels Corporation and Pan American World Airways.
Aside from her job responsibilities, Ms. Daniels is also very active within the community. She is a long-time member of the Public Relations Society of America, serving as a board member of the Hawaii chapter for the past six years and as president in 2006. She also serves as an officer for the Western Chapter of the Society of American Travel Writers, is an active board member of the Better Business Bureau of Hawaii and she works closely with the communications departments of the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau as well as the international PR representatives of the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
Ms. Daniels is a graduate of Heald College and holds the Accredited in Public Relations designation from the Public Relations Society of America.
