Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Alan D’Zurilla as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. D’Zurilla is a veteran hospitality industry sales and marketing professional who brings more than 30 years of experience with leading hospitality companies to his new role. Mr. D’Zurilla joins the Crowne Plaza Ravinia from Access Hotel Advisors where he was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management.
"Alan’s extensive experience in sales and marketing across a wide breadth of properties from leading resort hotels to large convention properties is a tremendous asset for the Crowne Plaza Ravinia,” said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “The Crowne Plaza Ravinia is a high profile hotel in Atlanta’s northern arc, as well as being adjacent to the corporate headquarters of the InterContinental Hotels Group. It is an extremely important hotel for the parent brand as well as for Crestline,” added Denfeld.
Crowne Plaza Ravinia’s General Manager Craig Hillyard also commented, “Having recently completed the final phase of our renovation, which includes our meeting space, we know that Alan’s strengths in group sales and marketing coupled with his deep understanding of the Atlanta market will be a tremendous asset for our already successful hotel.”
Mr. D’Zurilla holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University, School of Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management. During his prestigious career he has held management positions at such renowned properties as The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York City; The Hilton Fontainebleau Resort, Miami; The Registry Resort, Naples, FL; The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel; The Chicago Mart Plaza Hotel; and The Princess Hotel Bermuda, just to name a few.
