Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi has redefined the region’s dining standards by offering unique and memorable dining experiences in a setting that provides glorious views across Phang Nga Bay.

The overall theme for the food service at the Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi is one that brings guests closer to the action and the cooking, with many options and special features that not only attract attention and provide memorable dining experiences, but also appeal to all the senses.

The Living Room is the resort’s main restaurant, with several areas for guests to gather and meet. The Living Room features an interactive buffet where guests can discuss flavourings and doneness with the chefs and watch their dishes being prepared in the state-of-the-art kitchen. There is also a delightful Delicatessen, and a Patisserie.

Breakfast is buffet style with creatively presented interactive stations offering fruits and a large a la carte selection of hot specialties. Breakfast salads, home made smoothies, energizer juices and immune-boosting herbal teas and other healthy blends made to order, are examples of the balanced cuisine health options offered.

The Delicatessen offers a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, fresh bread from the bakery, and a selection of home made preserves and baked goods. The Patisserie features a sumptuous array of cakes, slices and chocolates, plus more than 32 flavours of ice cream and sorbet. All breakfast pastries are baked fresh every morning, together with waffles and pancakes, complemented by a large selection of home made jams.

Open only in the evening, The Dining Room showcases creative menus and a vast wine cellar. The menu features Mediterranean-style cuisine with vegetarian options. Guests may choose a three-course dinner or experience one of the five- or seven-course dégustation-style dinners. Each course can be accompanied by wine pairings suggested by the Sommelier. Creatively displayed courses are as unique as The Dining Room’s glass floor that has a creek meandering beneath!

Along side The Dining Room are exclusive dining salas where guests can enjoy their dinner in a romantic setting amongst the trees, with the organic garden behind and the softly lit mangroves in front – memorable.

Upstairs from The Dining Room is The Chefs Table - the venue for special chefs dinners and wine evenings. The table, seating just eight diners, is wrapped around the cooking station so that guests may interact with the chef while the dinner is being prepared. Also held in this wonderful setting are cooking classes focusing on four varieties of South East Asian regional cuisines.

The Den is the main bar where guests chill-out with funky cocktails that match the music, relax on day beds, and snack from the Asian tapas menu. It offers a cool experience of ambience and music with the just right amount of vibrancy. Sundowners and ice-cold margaritas, boutique wines, cocktails, an extensive selection of spirits and liqueurs, and many wines by the glass make it the place to be - before or after dinner.

A major feature are the extensive Wine Cellars, with more than 400 labels in stock and a qualified master of wine who leads guests on the wine journey of their liking, paired with food to create the perfect, harmonious, dining experience. One cellar is located in The Living Room while a second is in the library area, and a third is in The Hilltop Reserve. All feature a long, tasting table where regular tastings and dinners are hosted.

In Villa Dining is available twenty-four hours and a variety of home cooked-style dishes and delicious signature cuisine is prepared by personal chefs on portable BBQs right in front of guests. Complimenting the wide menu selection that can be prepared in your villa or delivered already prepared, is an “At Your Fingertips” selection in the small chillers in each villa. Favorite a la carte choices can be stocked to order.

Guests can also enjoy many romantic settings for private dinners, picnics and even champagne breakfasts. A simple, private, poolside, champagne breakfast is an ideal way to begin the day, and cocktails and a barbeque dinner on a boat or on a desert island is the perfect way to farewell the day at Yao Noi.

Yao Noi is a picturesque island in Phang Nga Bay - the unique environment for the Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi. It can be reached by motor boat from Phuket port or by the resort’s own helicopter, which commences full service in May, or by combined luxury car and motor boat journey from Phuket International Airport. The Six Senses Hideaway consists of 56 Pool Villas and Pool Villa Suites, the Hilltop Reserve and the Retreat - set in natural vegetation and tropical landscaping, providing privacy between the elevated villas and allowing striking views over Phang Nga Bay. There is a Six Senses Spa village and many great leisure opportunities are close at hand such as visits to nearby rock islands and secluded beaches, rock climbing and scuba diving.

Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi joins the recently opened Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay on Oman’s Musandam Peninsula, plus the Six Senses Hideaways in Samui and Hua Hin – Thailand, and Ninh Van Bay – Vietnam.
