Long-Awaited Opening of First Resort Hotel, Hacienda Tres Ríos, Slated for July 2

Nestled in the heart of the Riviera Maya, Tres Ríos, a 326-acre luxury eco-friendly resort, today announced that Hacienda Tres Ríos will begin welcoming guests for the first time on July 2. Just in time for summer travel, reservations at the endless luxury all-inclusive, all-suite resort are currently available online or by phone.

Hacienda Tres Ríos has 273 suites ranging from 645 up to 2,063 square feet with breathtaking views of the sea, fresh water canals, or lush tropical gardens. Each suite makes extensive use of local materials including furniture constructed from local cedar and Mexican marble floors. The suites feature 300-count Egyptian cotton linens, living areas with sofa beds, a pillow menu, terrace or private balcony, flat-screen satellite TVs, air conditioning, and Internet access. The suites are designed to be environmentally-friendly with low-flow water devices, automatic air conditioning and lighting controls, energy efficient appliances, and linens washed upon request.

Hacienda Tres Ríos offers an Endless Luxury All-Inclusive Plan that includes unlimited meals, snacks, and drinks in any of the properties’ seven, a patisserie, seven bars and through 24-hour room service. To ensure that you never have to leave the resort for culinary variety, the property boasts fine Mexican, Italian, Asian fusion, seafood and international cuisine, along with two poolside snack bars/delis and a brick-oven pizzeria.

The resort also features an exclusive Check-out Lounge that offers a private lounge to enjoy while awaiting transportation.

Outside the plush suites, the natural environment unfolds amidst 326 acres of rivers, an estuary, ten cenotes (fresh water springs) and a private one-mile stretch of sandy white beach. Whether visiting Hacienda Tres Ríos on a family vacation, honeymoon or girls weekend, there is something for everyone. With two pools, a private Yacht club, equestrian activities, day camp for kids and teens, a premium spa featuring Thalasso Bath and the unique Temazcal Bath experience, guided eco-park tours, snorkeling, a 500-seat ballroom and two rivers for swimming and kayaking – Hacienda Tres Ríos offers activities that appeal to every traveler’s idea of the ultimate vacation.

Hacienda Tres Ríos is situated within the Tres Ríos Nature Park, a popular eco-tourism destination for local visitors for more than seven years. That park is now a unique private reserve offering Hacienda Tres Ríos guests with the opportunity to experience activities and education in a pristine environment. Before construction began, the location was carefully chosen to create the least environmental impact. The construction process was rigorously managed to ensure the surrounding area was left better off than before work began. Building took place off-site with on-site assembly only, ensuring low noise, dust and debris. The buildings themselves sit off the ground on pilings to ensure natural water flow supporting the local fish and aquatic bird communities and the team of botanists has now reforested 107,000 square feet of hurricane-damaged mangrove forest. One hundred and fifty acres or nearly half of the total area has been designated a reserve with limited development to ensure the balance of human enjoyment and natural resources.

Hacienda Tres Ríos is working to form partnerships with local and international organizations to further support the unique communities and culture of the region. Hacienda Tres Ríos will offer guests total immersion excursions to traditional Mayan communities and cultural sites where guests will have the opportunity to participate in local Mayan customs, tour world heritage sites and experience adventure activities such as cave rappelling, ocean kayaking and visiting local monkey preserves.
