Marriott Rewards Makes it Easier for Members to Get Through the Airport With Discounts on Clear Cards

Clear(R), the fast pass for airport security, and Marriott Rewards, Marriott International's award-winning loyalty program, are giving Marriott Rewards Platinum Elite members a Clear Card complimentary for a year. Marriott Rewards Gold and Silver Elite members will receive an extra month when they purchase an initial 12-month enrollment.
To participate in this offer, elite members must complete online enrollment at http://flyclear.com/marriottplatinum or http://flyclear.com/marriottrewards before September 17, 2008.
"We want to make life on the road easier for our members. The Clear Card offers frequent travelers a fast and effective way to get through one of the biggest hassles of traveling," said Ed French, senior vice president, Marriott Rewards. "We are thrilled to be working with Clear to give this benefit to our most frequent guests."
"Thanks to Marriott, Marriott Elite Rewards Members can now enjoy predictably faster passage through Clear's lanes across the country," said Allison Beer, Clear's Senior Vice President. "We expect that by promoting Clear to Marriott's Rewards Program Elites, Clear will enroll as many as a hundred thousand of Marriott's most loyal customers, especially as the fast pass has launched last week at both Reagan and Dulles Airports in the nation's capital. Marriott Rewards members are just the audience for the Clear Card, and we expect our joint efforts will give way to a long and fruitful partnership," she added.
The two brands worked together before when Clear deployed its mobile enrollment station at the Marriott Marquis in midtown Manhattan to offer hotel guests and New York's midtown business community quick and convenient access to the Clear card sign-up process.
