Three New Executives Join Prestige Resorts & Destinations (États-Unis)

Prestige Resorts & Destinations, Ltd. has named three distinguished hotel veterans -- Greg Leeper, Karlene Reed and Michael Valentino -- to its executive staff.

"Greg, Karlene and Michael were attracted to the exceptional growth we have experienced over the last few years and will be able to carry that message to prospective customers, employees and hotel members."

Greg Leeper, a 25-year veteran of the hotel industry, has been named to the newly created post of regional vice president - southern region. In this new position, Leeper will be responsible for hiring, training, guiding, deploying and managing Prestige sales force for the region that will consist of five to seven sales people.

Prior to joining Prestige, Leeper was regional director of sales for Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii. He also has sales and marketing experience from a number of resort and hotel brands including Hyatt, Loews, Pointe Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. His representation company experience comes from his tenure as director of sales with hinton+grusich in Chicago. A native of Tennessee, Leeper will be based in Florida.

Karlene Reed is the new regional vice president - mountain region. She has similar responsibilities as Leeper but in the geographic area that consists of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. She is tasked with penetrating the Southwest market and driving business to Prestige's member properties. This 20-year veteran has held key sales and marketing positions mainly for two key brands -- Hyatt Hotels and Hilton Hotels and most recently served as director of national accounts for the Pointe Hilton Resorts in Phoenix. She also worked for HelmsBriscoe Performance Group and opened their office in Las Vegas. Reed is a native of Utah and will be based in Prestige's Scottsdale office.

As senior vice president - industry relations, Michael Valentino's responsibilities will include managing hotel members and preferred brand relationships along with overseeing the long-term strategic growth of the company's regional sales force. Prior to joining Prestige, Valentino served as director of group sales at The Kahala Hotel & Resort on Oahu, a member of Prestige Resorts & Destinations, Ltd. He is a veteran of 24 years in the hospitality industry where he has held sales and marketing positions for various luxury resorts including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, KSL Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. and Pointe Resorts. He also worked for two years with HelmsBriscoe Performance Group as a regional manager. Valentino is a resident of Arizona and will be based in the company's Scottsdale office.
