Following the Successful Launch of AQUA Cancun, Leading Latin American Hotelier Grupo Posadas Plans for Continued Growth in the Upcoming Year.
With a portfolio of 104 hotels and 19,042 guestrooms in fifty of the most sought after beach and city destinations throughout Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, Grupo Posadas has well established its positioning as Latin America's leading hotel operator. After successfully launching seven new hotels in 2007, including the debut of its modern lifestyle brand AQUA at AQUA Cancun, Posadas looks forward to the opening of fifteen new properties in 2008.
Scheduled to debut this spring, the Caesar Park Buenos Aires Obelisco, named for its location in front of the world-renowned 220-foot monument standing in the heart of Buenos Aires, will provide a classic and relaxed environment in this vibrant, metropolitan city. Serving as a peaceful retreat and sanctuary for travelers to the bustling cultural and financial center of Buenos Aires, Caesar Park Buenos Aires Obelisco will offer seventy-four contemporary guestrooms, two state-of-the-art meeting rooms and an authentic Argentine restaurant, serving traditional parrilla, or charcoal-grilled steaks, and exquisite national wines.
Following in the footsteps of its sister property, AQUA Cancun, which debuted late last year, AQUA Bosques will open its doors to Mexico City's most discerning travelers in the fall of 2008. Boasting unique design elements such as sensuous aromatherapy mists, savory international cuisine, and deep-tissue massages, AQUA Bosques promises to seduce guests' senses with the brand's unique "sensory stay" philosophy.
In the business and economy categories, Posadas' Fiesta Inn and One Hotels look forward to an impressive thirteen openings this year. A hospitality concept designed to meet the needs of frequent business travelers, Fiesta Inn will expand its portfolio from 58 to 66 offerings, while upholding its brand standards to guarantee functional facilities, comfortable work areas and an elite level of guest service.
Combining safety, trust and comfort at affordable prices, Grupo Posadas' economy concept, One Hotels, also looks forward to a strong expansion with the openings of five new properties in 2008 as well as forty-five additional properties over the next five years.
