Angsana Hotel & Suites Dubai has announced the appointment of Mr. Stefan van der Kruyf as Director of Sales and Marketing. Aside from his responsibilities for both the hotel and suites towers, he is also a key team member of the property’s pre-opening procedural development and hiring.
Born in the United States, Mr. van der Kruyf has a wealth of sales and marketing experience in some of the most renowned five-star hotel companies in the world. With a career spanning over two decades, he has held managerial and directorial positions at numerous properties including Hyatt Regency Dubai and Galleria, Intercontinental Frankfurt, Hilton Hotels Munich, Heidelberg Marriott Hotel, as well as with the Meridian Group and Arabella Sheraton group.
“Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai is Banyan Tree Group’s flagship property in the United Arab Emirates. It has provided a number of interesting challenges as we aspire towards being a testament to the service standards offered by Banyan Tree and Angsana properties around the world. The Angsana heritage in itself brings together a fantastic work ethic that fosters team spirit, creativity in the workplace as well as consideration for the environment wherever possible,” advocated Mr. van der Kruyf.
