Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts entered into another significant partnership at the beginning of June 2008. This time it is with the Russian airline, Aeroflot. Effective immediately, members of Bonus, Aeroflot’s frequent flyer programme, may collect global miles each time they stay at one of the 27 Swissôtels in 15 countries. This makes Aeroflot the international hotel chain’s 17th airline partner.
“By cooperating with Aeroflot, we are expressing our appreciation for our Russian guests,” is the way Stephanie Hilgers, Director Partner Marketing Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, sees it. “And what’s more, for us, Russia is an important market with growing potential.”
In Russia, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is represented by a deluxe hotel in the capital, the Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy in Moscow. Since opening in 2005, it has gained an excellent reputation. Bonus members staying at the hotel can benefit from this new partnership: Guests with Gold or Silver status will be upgraded to the next-highest category of room, depending on availability, and Bonus Junior members (2-12 years old) may use the internet free of charge when a Kid’s Room Special is booked, enjoy free non-alcoholic drinks from the mini bar, and also receive a suprise in the form of a welcoming gift.
