In the renowned international hotel ranking published by the US financial magazine Institutional Investor just one German hotel can be found this year in the top 50 of the world: the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof in Frankfurt am Main.

Every year the economic and financial magazine Institutional Investor, based in New York, publishes its international hotel ranking. This lists the world’s best hotels according to a survey of international business leaders who spend a minimum of 52 nights a year in a hotel. Rubbing shoulders with such famous institutions as the St. Regis in New York, the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, the Four Seasons in Singapore and Paris, Claridges in London or the Imperial in Tokyo, the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof is the only German representative in the top 50 hotels.
“We have never been in the top 50 before,” says the General Manager of the Steigenberger flagship, Gerhard Mitrovits. “My colleagues and I are proud of this accolade, which will inspire us to get even better.” Mitrovits, who has plenty of international experience under his belt, feels sure that the constant improvements in quality, the new food and beverage concepts, the steady increase in amenities for hotel guests and the above-average standards of service have all paid off.
