. . . Graves 601 Hotel Joins Associated Luxury Hotels As Newest Midwest Option

The impressive Graves 601 Hotel in Minneapolis has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as the organization’s first member in Minnesota. ALHI provides corporations, associations, and independent planners dedicated national sales services for its 120-plus Four- and Five-Diamond/Star quality member hotels and resorts for meetings, incentive programs, conventions, and exhibitions.

Rising 22 stories in downtown Minneapolis, the chic Graves 601 Hotel is ideally located right across the street from the Target Center, in the heart of the city’s business, theatre and entertainment districts. Connected by Skyway to the business and shopping district, the AAA Four-Diamond hotel has the largest meeting space of all luxury downtown Minneapolis hotels, and it is all on one floor. Its contemporary ballroom boasts two striking back-lit blue glass walls and can accommodate 750 for a reception. The hotel also features seven other adjacent meeting rooms, and private screening rooms with stadium seating for up to 500. The 255 rooms and suites feature high technology and high fashion with glass-etched handcrafted headboards, 42-inch plasma screen televisions with in-room entertainment systems, and a refrigerator. The acclaimed AAA Four-Diamond Cosmos Restaurant, The Infinity Room lounge, and a comprehensive business center are among the other available offerings. Within one block of the hotel are 6,177 live theatre seats and 60,500 event seats (20,500 at the Target Center, and 40,000 at the new Twins Ballpark). Light rail to the airport and Mall of America is just one block from the hotel.

“The remarkable Graves 601 Hotel is a great addition to ALHI’s impressive luxury portfolio,” said David Gabri, president and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels. “Graves 601 Hotel is a wonderful new option for planners seeking a unique luxury-level hotel in the vibrant Midwest city of Minneapolis.”

Other exceptional ALHI member hotels and resorts in the upper Midwest include three Chicago properties: the InterContinental Chicago, Sofitel Chicago Water Tower, and The Peninsula Chicago. ALHI’s portfolio also includes the new and magnificent MGM Grand Detroit; the famed Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Kansas City’s best, the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza.

With a diverse luxury portfolio of more than 85,000 rooms and suites and 9 million square feet of meeting space, ALHI enables planners to gain professional one-call access to its outstanding member hotels and resorts that specialize in meetings and incentive programs requiring from 10 to more than 5,000 rooms. Member properties include extraordinary meeting and incentive resorts, city hotels, exclusive smaller hotels, golf and destination resorts, historic and landmark properties, island destinations, resorts with spas, and spectacular hotels with world-class gaming and entertainment. There is no cost to planners to utilize the services of ALHI, as its members’ dues fund the organization.

Associated Luxury Hotels has 16 professionally-staffed National Sales Offices to serve, with locations in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Louisville, Miami, New York City, North Carolina, Orange County (CA), Orlando, Philadelphia, Richmond, San Diego, and Toronto.
