Trust International (www.TrustInternational.com) has entered a partnership with Kiwi Collection (www.kiwicollection.com) for Trust|IDS Connect services where Trust will distribute rates, availability and reservations directly to the reservation systems of the ultra luxury hotels that are members of the Kiwi Collection. This marks an important addition to Trust’s direct connect footprint and illustrates Trust’s commitment to meeting their hotel partners’ needs to connect to key online hotel groups, such as Kiwi Collection, for internet distribution services (IDS).
“Kiwi Collection’s member hotels represent an elite group of the finest hotels in the world, so we are continually striving to improve our service and streamline every aspect of product while maintaining the highest standards of quality,” said Sameer Poonja, Vice President, Technology of Kiwi Collection. “Trust|IDS Connect’s interface will help us meet these objectives, as it will enable us to greatly reduce our distribution costs and enhance accuracy.”
The Trust|IDS Connect interface eliminates the labor-intensive process and expense of maintaining an intermediary database with Kiwi Collection’s member hotels. This in turn will reduce processing errors and improve accuracy, while ensuring the correct rates are immediately available.
“Our Trust|IDS Connect interfaces with Internet distribution channels’ third parties, as well as to property management systems and room management systems for Kiwi’s total ease of use -- the ‘one stop, distribute all’ concept that is the Trust’s hallmark,” said Candida Toro, Trust International, VP Global Account Management. “In addition, as we work together with Kiwi Collection, we can forge new partnerships between our partners to increase distribution and customer reach, while supporting our client’s wish to offer the most accurate rates and real-time availability.”
