Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH) today announced the 125-suite Cambria Suites hotel in Columbus near the Polaris Fashion Center opened its doors to guests last week, marking the first Cambria Suites hotel to open in 2009 and the second to open in Ohio under the American Hospitality Group. As of September 31, 2008, there are 65 Cambria Suites hotels under development nationwide and in Canada.

A grand opening celebration will be held at the hotel in April with representatives of Choice Hotels, American Hospitality Group, area businesses and members of the local Chamber of Commerce in attendance.

Like all Cambria Suites hotels, the Cambria Suites Columbus-Polaris boasts a stylish design and guestrooms that are 25 percent larger than standard hotel rooms.
