Inspired by the flavour of his home region Campania, southern Italy, Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong’s Angelini Chef Vittorio Lucariello proudly presents a four-course dinner menu, which is available throughout February 2009. Priced at only HK$780 per person, guests can experience the tastes and rustic ambience of southern Italy in a modern relaxing setting.
The set dinner features Roasted and Filled Peppers with Anchovies, Capers and Olives on Aubergine Caponata and Breaded Mozzarella; Artisanal Linguine with Veraci Clams and Crispy Potato; a main course of either Mediterranean Red Snapper with Courgette and Tomato Broth or Roasted Stone Oven Baby Lamb with Potato and Rosemary; and ends on a sweet note with Toasted Almond Chocolate Cake with Hazelnut Gelato.
For an additional HK$398 per person, guests can enjoy three glasses of different wines from Campania including Greco di Tufo dei Feudi di San Gregorio; Fiano di Avellino dei Feudi di San Gregorio; and a selection of Rubrato dei Feudi di San Gregorio or Taurasi dei Feudi di San Gregorio to complement their dishes. To enable guests to explore authentic and diversified Italian cuisine, every month throughout 2009 Angelini will feature one of Italy’s 10 most famous regional cuisines from regions such as Sicily (Southern), Umbria (Central) and Piedmont (Northern). Using only the finest ingredients of the season, Angelini delivers authentic Italian cuisine accompanied with an extensive wine list of over 100 Italian wines. Situated on the mezzanine floor of the hotel with panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline, Angelini combines a comfortable and inviting ambience with stylish, contemporary decor.
