Swiss-Belhotel International is proud to announce the promotion of Emmanuel Guillard to Senior Vice President Operations and Development. Guillard has been with Swiss-Belhotel International for 13 years and is one of the key figures behind the company’s growth in Indonesia.
Guillard started out in Swiss-Belhotel International as an Executive Assistant Manager in Hotel Ciputra Jakarta in 1995 to 1998, after which he served as the hotel’s General Manager from February 1998 to December 2003. While still at the helm as hotel GM, he was also appointed as Director for Operations for Indonesia from 2000 to 2006, whereupon the number of SBI properties in Indonesia rapidly increased. From 2006 to November 2008, he served as Vice President for Operations and Development in Indonesia, successfully clinching management contracts that enhanced SBI’s portfolio and earning the respect and admiration of property owners and SBI group executives.
Prior to joining Swiss-Belhotel International, Guillard worked as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for Le Meridien’s F&B outlets around the world. He likewise performed various responsibilities for other properties and luxury cruise ships during his earlier years in the tourism industry.
