George Terpilowski, General Manager of The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is pleased to announce the promotion of Noelle Hughes to Group Sales Manager for the luxurious, 415-room Fairmont Hotel. In her new role, Hughes will handle business for larger groups in the Mid-west, West Coast and International markets.
Hughes joined The Fairmont in February 2008 as a Group Sales Coordinator, and was later promoted to Group Sales Manager-Small Meetings Market in August 2008. Prior to that, she was a Meetings Assistant at the Association for Financial Professionals, coordinating their social functions and small meetings. Hughes began her career in 2004 planning fundraising events and maintaining donor relationships as a Development Associate for The Pontifical North American College.
Hughes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The Catholic University of America.
