GTA by Travelport, a global travel wholesaler and Accor, owner of 4,000 hotels in 90 countries spanning the spectrum of the hotel market from budget/economy to luxury, today announced that they have signed an innovative distribution agreement wherein Accor will enhance their distribution of properties and room types in GTA's inventory portfolio.

The distribution agreement ensures that GTA's thousands of tour operator and travel agency customers will now have access to an even wider range of brands, from the upscale Sofitel, MGallery, and Pullman; Midscale Novotel, Mercure, and Suitehotel; to select Economy properties such as Ibis.

The addition of this content to GTA's already growing diverse range of hotels and destination services, gives GTA customers access to new inventory in key markets. Covering every segment from luxury to economy around the world, Accor's hotel brands meet the needs of business and leisure travelers looking for comfortable accommodations, attentive staff and a full range of services.

"We're excited to enhance our selection of the Accor Group of brands to our global inventory," stated Kurt Ekert, GTA Chief Operating Officer. "This new relationship with Accor creates expanded search capabilities for our customers to help them offer travelers the best possible match and best-rate assurance, ultimately improving the end-user's experience."

"Accor continues its heritage of constantly reinventing and refreshing its businesses to keep pace with the evolving market," commented Jean-Luc Chretien, Executive Vice President Distribution & Sales, Accor Hotels. "Through our relationship with GTA, our content will be distributed through GTA's multi-channel distribution network which customers can access both online and offline. This agreement supports our goal of providing innovative, high-quality products to Hospitality and Services customers by expanding our reach through GTA's dynamic network and GTA's vast array of travel trade customers around the globe."
