The new 79-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson(R) Macon North today announced it is open for business at 3915 Arkwright Road.
"We're very excited to bring another Country Inns & Suites By Carlson hotel to this region," said Steve Mogck, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. "All employees will participate in our 'Be Our Guest' service training program, to ensure consistent delivery of quality customer service at our hotels."

The 100 percent non-smoking hotel features an indoor pool, whirlpool and state-of-the-art fitness center with treadmill, elliptical machine and freedom trainer. Other amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, an evening social hour with hors d'oeuvres and Monday night massages, and a meeting room that can accommodate up to 45 people. The hotel offers a variety of guest room styles including standard rooms, studio suites, one-bedroom suites, extended stay suite and a Jacuzzi suite. All rooms feature complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, hair dryer, 32-inch LCD television, microwave and refrigerator.
Conveniently located off I-75 at Exit 169, the hotel is just 12 miles from the Lewis B. Wilson Airport and convenient to many local Macon attractions, including the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Harriett Tubman Museum.
