Astudo Hotel and Resort Group, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and resort management companies, is proud to announce the opening of its third resort within its designer brand X2.
X2 Rayong, a boutique beach front resort located in the province of Rayong is situated on the tranquil beach of Lam Mae Pim overlooking the Gulf of Thailand where a 100 meter stretch of secluded beachfront sets the scene for a true X2 experience.
Astudo and X2 Resort’s CEO Anthony McDonald says, “When choosing the location of where to situate our X2 designer resorts we make it a priority to find somewhere that will exemplify our main goal – Satisfying The Spirit… X2 and Rayong was a perfect match.”
The resort embraces a secluded, tranquil environment encompassing 15 villas with stunning sea views, swimming pool, conference room, Spa and an open air BBQ area where the resident chef can create an array of designer culinary experiences. Each designer styled private villa features a spacious terrace, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, an in-room safe, entertainment including satellite TV with 40” LCD screen, a music and movie library and complimentary wireless hi-speed internet – also available throughout the entire resort.
Rayong is located on the eastern coastline of Thailand, approximately 220 kilometres from Bangkok and renowned for its pristine beaches stretching along a 100-kilometer coastline with scenic waterfalls, exotic surroundings, magnificent scenery, an abundance of seafood products and tropical fruits that brings visitors from far and wide.
Astudo Hotel & Resort Group is fast growing its X2 brand of designer resorts. The designer brand began in 2007 when the first resort, X2 Kui Buri in the province of the Prachuap Khiri Khan was opened. Shortly after in 2008, the second X2 resort was established on the tropical island of Samui. “The popularity of boutique resorts has skyrocketed and there is no better time for X2 to satisfy this demand and respond quickly.
Rayong is the third of many more X2’s to come” says CEO Anthony McDonald. The next X2 Resorts are scheduled to open in mid 2010, X2 Koh Kood (Kood Island), in Trat Province and X2 Koh Tan (Coral Island), located southwest from Samui.
