Radisson® Hotels & Resorts today announced the addition of the Radisson Hotel Baton Rouge, a 132-room hotel located at 2445 S. Acadian Thruway in Baton Rouge, La., which will officially open under its new name on July 1. The hotel was converted to the Radisson brand as part of a plan to reposition the property following an $8.5 million renovation project including all guestrooms, the hotel’s restaurant, Bistro 225, the Tiger Pub, the pool and tropical courtyard, and the building exterior.
“This hotel represents the vibrant new identity we’re building for the Radisson brand, combining a contemporary, dynamic atmosphere with our distinctive ‘Yes I Can!’ service that guests will experience from the moment they walk through our doors,” said Fredrik Korallus, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Radisson Hotels & Resorts. “We’re confident that adding Baton Rouge’s only boutique hotel to the Radisson portfolio will deliver an upscale hospitality experience that our customers will appreciate when traveling to southern Louisiana.”

The Radisson Hotel Baton Rouge provides attractive accommodations featuring stylish décor, contemporary furniture and modern amenities for an enjoyable and satisfying stay. All of the spacious rooms feature an array of contemporary amenities including Sleep Number® beds, offering guests adjustable firmness, goose down duvets, high-speed Internet access, high definition television and complimentary USA Today newspaper. Each guestroom floor features its own cultural design element and the hotel specialty suites offer five styles - Executive, Acapulco Ambassador, Tropical Rain Forest, La Cocina, and Grand Cabo Presidential – each with its own distinct design to provide stylish comfort.
The hotel offers more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space, including three separate banquet rooms that can accommodate up to 440 people. Complete meeting and banquet support services are available. For leisure activities, the hotel provides a new outdoor swimming pool, patio area, and fitness center with sauna.
The Radisson Hotel Baton Rouge also offers two options for dining – Bistro 225 Restaurant and the Tiger Pub Lounge. Bistro 225, which overlooks the pool and patio area, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering modern American cuisine prepared by their award-winning Executive Chef, Jewel Robinson. The Tiger Pub is located in the lobby of the hotel and is open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
