Malaysian Sister Property – Five-Star Evergreen Laurel Hotel Penang Also Extends Utell Contract
The five-star Evergreen Laurel Hotel Bangkok has chosen Utell Hotels & Resorts for dedicated international sales, marketing and distribution. In addition, its sister property, the five-star Evergreen Laurel Hotel Penang in Malaysia has extended its decade-long relationship with Utell for another two years.
“Utell enables us to compete on an international level positioning our hotels at the forefront of the industry making them easily accessible, visible and constantly available for booking worldwide.” said Ken Chen, General Manager of Evergreen Laurel Hotel Bangkok.

Additional business benefits of Utell membership for Evergreen International Hotels will be realized through Utell’s leading relationships with travel agents and preferred agreements with major TMCs (Travel Management Companies), corporations and consortia groups, according to Leutwyler.
In honor of the switch to Utell, the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Bangkok is offering a special rate of $89 per night throughout July and August, with no minimum stay. Combining Eastern grace with international elegance, the Bangkok property’s 160 modern rooms are appointed with sophisticated comfort, and located on Sathom Road, close to embassies, and the Silom shopping and amusement center.
Penang’s Evergreen Laurel Hotel is situated along the famed Gurney Drive. A deluxe business and leisure hotel, it offers 368 elegant and spacious guestrooms with uninterrupted views of the Sea, Georgetown and Penang Hill.
