Guests atthe Omni Fort Worth Hotel will now have an opportunity to gain access to the city’s renowned vault of artistic masterpieces. Now through Sept. 7, 2009, guests can book the special “A Day at the Museums” package, which includes luxurious accommodations at the Omni Fort Worth and exclusive access to six museums across the city. The package incorporates the city’s Museum Pass Program in partnership with the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau and Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County.

“Fort Worth is known for its Western lore, but many visitors are not aware of the thriving arts and culture the city offers,” says Ed Netzhammer, general manager for the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. “We are thrilled that our guests can now take advantage of this special partnership to enjoy the outstanding Fort Worth Cultural District.”

Located in the heart of the city and steps away from the Sundance Square entertainment district, the Omni Fort Worth is the ideal destination for guests seeking a little culture. As the third largest arts district in the U.S., guests will enjoy Fort Worth like never before with the museum pass which grants admission to Fort Worth’s finest exhibitions, including:

* Kimbell Art Museum
* Modern Art Museum
* National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame
* Amon Carter Museum
* Fort Worth Community Arts Center
* Sid Richardson Museum

Admire the likes of Picasso and El Greco at the Kimbell and then sit down for a local, sustainable lunch at the Café Modern, lauded as one of America’s best by Gourmet magazine, at the Modern Art Museum, which seems to float on a quiet pond. Equally unique is the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame boasting legends from Texas and beyond such as Connie Reeves, who lived to be 102 and enjoyed a 96 year equestrian career. The pass also offers special discounts at the museum stores of the Amon Carter, Kimbell and Sid Richardson museums.
