Emerald Monkey Eco-Luxe Resort has been accepted into membership of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the ultimate luxury collection featuring more than 200 of the world's most desirable destinations. The brand conveys the highest standards of hospitality and service as it celebrates the individuality of its members.
This secluded and exclusive island resort has 76 private one, two and three bedroom villas scattered among the gently sloping hillsides of Isla Pastor (Shepherd Island), located in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago of the Caribbean Sea of Panama.
Kimberly DeLape, CEO/Co-Founder of Emerald Monkey Eco-Luxe Resort & Residences, envisioned the development while finding one of the top architecture and interior design firms in Bali to design the project. Balinese craftsmen use only sustainable materials to build the villas in the authentic Balinese tradition. As one of the first carbon-neutral luxury communities in the world, Emerald Monkey is also a leader in environmental responsibility and every single detail has been considered in the efforts to limit human impact on this pristine environment. Along with its environmental consciousness, Emerald Monkey also has philanthropic initiatives and has partnered with UNICEF to inoculate 16,500 children in the Bocas del Toro region.
Sustainable and renewable materials, green energy and 5-star, white-glove service have merged to create Emerald Monkey Eco-Luxe Resort. The hotel mantra is "harmony, unity, tranquility."
