Tucked between the Mediterranean Sea and the imposing Southern Alps, Palais Stephanie reopens following the most extensive renovation of any hotel in Cannes in decades. The 38-million Euro renovation has completely transformed this classic hotel into a vibrant and stylish hotspot incorporating modern design elements reflecting its glamorous film heritage. The hotel is enviously located in the center of the famous La Croisette just steps from the beach, with breathtaking views of the Bay of Cannes and the Lerins Islands.
Palais Stephanie sits on the original site of the Palais des Congres, where the first Cannes Film Festivals were held until the new Palais des Festivals was inaugurated in 1983. The dramatic redesign of the hotel pays tribute to the legendary film stars of festivals past, such as Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, and Liz Taylor, whose timeless glamour accentuate the Palais' design.
An impressive "Palme d'Or" sculpture acts as a focal point as guests enter the lobby, and the use of contemporary furniture, muted creams and contrasting colors define the hotel's sleek, new look. The elaborate renovation extends to the spacious 261 rooms and suites each having been completely redone. The rooms now feature hand stitched leather accents, upholstered walls, and dramatic black and white portraits of iconic film stars. Rooms have also been upgraded with flat screen TVs and high-speed Internet access.

The menu serves refreshing cocktails and a healthy organic selection of snacks and homemade pastries. The Palais Stephanie also offers convenient access to one of the city's famous sandy beaches just steps away, and provides attentive beach services for guests.
La Scena Lounge Bar and Restaurant is the hotel's main dining option and is the place to see and be seen in Cannes.
