Nam Hai lands Leading Hotels of the World award (Viêt Nam)

It’s one thing to be a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, a prestigious hospitality organization representing more than 450 of the finest hotels, resorts and spas. It’s another to be considered among the best of that exclusive bunch.
Such is the latest honor bestowed upon The Nam Hai, which last week picked up a Commitment to Quality Award at LHW’s 8th Annual International Convention in Venice, Italy.
Vietnam’s premier seaside resort was one of two LHW properties called out in the Asia-Pacific region for its service levels during an anonymous inspection. The acclaimed Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, in the Maldives, was the other.
“Being in company like that — it’s as good as it gets,” said Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, general manager of The Nam Hai. “And the award itself — an award based on judged performance — is gratifying. It’s testament to our staff’s work ethic and attentiveness.”
Situated on 35 hectares of landscaped tropical gardens overlooking the East Sea, the Indochina Land-owned Nam Hai is an all-villa property featuring 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 pool villas ranging from one to five bedrooms, each with its own infinity pool.
Signature features of The Nam Hai include two gourmet restaurants; a tropical spa beside a lagoon; three beachfront swimming pools; and an 18-hole, Colin Montgomerie-designed golf course (The Montgomerie Links Vietnam).
Since opening in December 2006, The Nam Hai has established a reputation as one of the best resorts anywhere. In addition to the LHW accolade, the hotel has claimed the following:
