Barry Wallace, executive vice president of hospitality services for Outrigger Enterprises Group, is pleased to announce the return of TJ Oesterling to the Outrigger team as general manager of The Kapalua Villas and the appointment of Dina McCallion as director of sales – Maui, Outrigger Condominium Collection.
In his new position, TJ Oesterling is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of this newest addition to Outrigger’s Condominium Collection. Oesterling returns to Outrigger from his position as the regional vice-president operations – Pacific Region for Wyndham Vacation Ownership. He also held various positions with Hilton Grand Vacation Club, and prior to that he was regional vice president of Shell Hospitality Management, Inc., overseeing the management of four properties in the state of Hawaii. Oesterling was also regional account representative for RCI, the world's largest timeshare exchange company. During his four years with Outrigger, TJ Oesterling was vice-president of the Condominium and Timeshare Division.
“We are happy to welcome back a familiar face,” said Barry Wallace. “His extensive experience in the condominium and timeshare industry and his familiarity with the Outrigger way will serve him well in his leadership role at The Kapalua Villas,” he added.
In her position as director of sales – Maui, Dina McCallion is responsible for the development and coordination of rates and strategy as well as the implementation and administration of the sales and marketing strategies for Outrigger’s inventory of Maui resort condominiums. She is also responsible for developing and maintaining key message platforms for marketing communications and product training, participation in island-level destination promotions, and developing sales activities, events, packages and promotions to support revenue goals. She will also be working closely with the new team at The Kapalua Villas to ensure a successful launch and position the resort for future success.
Ms. McCallion comes to Outrigger with many years of experience at Kapalua Resort. She has held the positions of sales manager and director of sales for The Kapalua Villas, and most recently was the director of sales for the Kapalua Resort where she was responsible for sales and co-op marketing for The Kapalua Villas, Kapalua Golf, Kapalua Golf Academy, Kapalua Adventures Zip Lines Tours, Kapalua Spa, and Kapalua Farms and Pineapple Tours. She has also worked in sales at the Kapalua Bay Hotel when it was managed by Marriott Renaissance and Starwood.
