All-Inclusive Resort Invites Golfers to Play and Win Week-long Vacation Getaways
Barceló Puerto Plata announces its first annual golf tournament at the Playa Dorada Golf Course in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Golfers from Canada, the U.S., Germany, France and Latin America will come together at this leading all-inclusive resort to play in a three-day tournament, taking place November 16 – 18, 2010.
The Playa Dorada Golf Course, located directly in front of Barceló Puerto Plata, was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. With 18 challenging holes and a picturesque view of the Atlantic and Mount Isabela, the Playa Dorada Golf Course is a favorite attraction among golfers, with the all-inclusive Barceló Puerto Plata as the preferred hotel for off-the-green fun.
The first annual golf tournament offers three rounds of golf to a total of 96 players on a first come, first served basis. Players will compete for daily or overall prizes. Special prizes will be awarded to the player with the longest drive, the player with the straightest drive, the player closest to the pin, the low gross championship team, players who make a hole in one and more.

Players and their guests can enjoy their golf getaway at the Barceló Puerto Plata Resort, where unlimited drinks, meals and activities are always included. Golfers must send applications to Barceló Puerto Plata by October 29, 2010, and come prepared with their own golf clubs.
