Mark Heather, Regional Managing Director of Absolute Hotel Services India Pvt. Ltd. announced the appointment of Mr. S. Shashidhar as VP Operations and Technical Services, effective as of July 2010.
A hospitality business leader with a balanced exposure to all areas of hotel operations for over 23 years. Mr. Shashidhar, for the last 4 years, has been active in project consulting, recruitment solutions and training. With more than 10 years as a general manager in various hotels in India and Africa, he has vast knowledge and experience with international brand value implementation such as Days Inn, Radisson Hotels and Regent International Hotels. His international training experience includes his assignments with Carlson Hospitality Worldwide (Chicago, Omaha and Washington D.C.) and Regent International Hotels (Hong Kong).
Projects already announced under technical services and management contracts with Absolute Hotel Services India include U KBJ Grand Varanasi, U KBJ La Casa Bella Goa, U KBJ Stupas Kushinagar, U KBJ Five Colours Bodhgaya, U KBJ Touchstone Khajuraho and Eastin Sun Pune. Another 5 properties will be announced by August 2010.
