Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services announced the latest U Hotels & Resorts management contract with Sudjid Surijamorn, owner and director of At Nai Harn Resort Co. Ltd. The new development of U Phuket will be the first U Resort on the world famous tropical island of Thailand which will open in late 2011.
U Phuket Resort set on a dramatic hillside with spectacular views of the lake, billowing trees and the ocean. Located in a secluded area of Nai Harn beach offering spacious and luxurious accommodation with modern facilities for both young couples, honeymooners and families with children. Meeting and event venues are designed to serve the needs of business and wedding purposes.

U Hotels & Resorts is a fresh and fast growing regional brand with strong concept of service, having hotels and resorts that are already under various stages of construction in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and the Middle East. The group also has international sales and marketing network covering Europe, Australia, Asia (Singapore, China incl. Hong Kong, South Korea) and regional sales and marketing center based in Bangkok, India and Vietnam.
All 140 rooms and suites U Phuket are designed in a contemporary modern Thai style with room sizes ranging from 45 sqm for superior rooms to 90 sqm for suites excluding balcony areas of 10.4 sqm. Facilities include welcome sala, lobby, two swimming pools with pool bar, purpose built kids pool and kids club for toddlers and older children, two restaurants, a wine bar, spa facilities with three double treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym, library/business center and event space for meetings and events that can accommodate up to 220 guests.
